During the Dry Creek Stake Conference (Springville, UT) of the LDS Church, I took notes in haiku form.
Maybe they should be separated, but … that will take too much time!
How can I make a/
big diff’rence in the world? Get/
involved saving souls. 10:27 a.m.
What is taught to me/
In the temple depends on/
My heart, soul and need. 1037 am
If she knows the names/
Of God’s servants, how much more/
Does God know His kids? 1055 am (after the mission president’s wife talked about each missionary in attendance individually).
Don’t try to douse a/
Raging fire of sin with just/
A glass of water. 11:12
Keeping the Sabbath /
Gets hard when you want to be/
With wand’ring children. 1119
Kid’s aren’t the cause of/
irreverence in church. It’s/
what adults think of.
1129 am
Our temple service /
Is an expression of our/
Love and testimony. 1142
I covered my face/
‘Til a child grabbed my hand/
And forced me to see. 1148
She led us with such
Joy that I watched her move from/
Expert to artist. 1202 pm (Watching the choir director /chorister lead music).
