I, a chivalric knight,
am still here,
fighting the fight
for those I hold dear.

Children and parents,
loved ones who’ve passed;
it makes more sense
to work for them at last.

And so my social life
can take a back seat.
I’ll find my new wife
who God wants me to meet,

by working on deeds of kindly service,
(even though waiting makes me real nervous!)
