Last dance, she was rockin’
her red satin dress.
I closed my eyes
to imagine her soft caress.
We moved across the ballroom;
that shiny dance floor.
I kept my eyes closed
and dreamed of her more.
My thoughts turned like dance steps;
they swirled like bright lights.
My imagination turned real
and attraction took flight.
Then I woke up and opened my eyes once again,
walked into a table and dumped my drink on my friend.
