As always,
it was about me.
As always,
I was the Center of the Universe.
As always,
I got my way.
As always,
I didn’t listen.
As always,
I was the Me Monster.

As always,
I did what I wanted.
As always,
I talked about me.
As always,
My issues were paramount.

As always,
I brought guilt and pressure.
As always,
I had my own agenda.
As always,
I was demanding attention.

As always,
I’ve done wrong.
As always,
I now feel stupid because,
As always,
I didn’t realize it and,
As always,
I still don’t see it.
