IMpression Is, MMM: Revolutionary Improv Sketch Haiku + ConTEXTing Poem

At a MashedPotatoe.org and Gasworks Gallery function recently, we were invited to “sketch”. I’m a terrible artist, so I sketched a Haiku instead, then wrote a friend about the experience.

Here’s the Haiku and photo, and the followup ConTEXTing poem:
Impression is mmm/
weighs heavily on the me/
that sees poetry.

Done./
Fun./
Wrote a haiku/

    Oh, yeah. Someone asked: “A rowboat with oars AND a motor?” DUH! Obviously that someone never had a motor that died, ran out of gas, or ran aground in a shallow lake!
